Next December CENER will celebrate its 20^th Anniversary. A technology centre that develops applied research in renewable energies and provides technological support to energy companies and institutions around the world.

We are very happy with this birthday and we think it is worth celebrating. For this reason, we are organizing the event CENER TECHNOLOGY TRENDS WEEK, that will vindicate our work and our way of doing things, highlighting the important achievements made over the years and that have earned us the recognition of the sector, both Spanish and international. The event will be held  online, with the aim of making it more accessible and interactive.

Every day you will find new content. Write down the dates on your agenda because, as you will see when visiting our website, we will present the technological trends we are working on during 7 working days. We will also take a look at some projects and good practices that have earned us external recognition.

Do not miss visiting the CONGRATULATIONS section, in which we include the testimonies of personalities and representatives of the most important energy institutions and associations who have wanted to join our celebration, sending us a message in video format. You will hear the testimony of the Director General of Energy of the European Commission, Ditte Juul Jorgensen, of the fourth vice president of the Government of Spain, Teresa Ribera, of the Spanish Minister of Science and Innovation, Pedro Duque, or of the President of the regional Government of Navarra, María Chivite, among others. But also representatives of European energy associations, such as Giles Dickson, CEO of Wind Europe or of Spanish business associations, such as Antonio Garamendi, of the CEOE.

We will show our technological contributions on a daily basis, divided by each of the areas in which we work: wind energy, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, biomass, efficiency and energy generation in buildings and urban planning, and integration into the energy network.
